Rising Futures is a trauma-informed family and youth program centered on strengthening the family unit. The program helps children, youth, and caregivers better understand trauma, stress, emotions, and the ways these experiences can affect relationships, behavior, communication, and everyday life.

Through developmentally appropriate education, activities, and practical tools, Rising Futures builds skills in emotional regulation, coping, communication, problem-solving, and healthy relationships. A central focus is helping family members better understand both their own responses and one another, creating opportunities for stronger communication, connection, and resilience within the family.

Rising Futures recognizes that children and caregivers do not experience challenges in isolation. Individual well-being is closely connected to family relationships, community, environment, and the systems surrounding them. By approaching trauma and resilience through the family rather than focusing on one individual, the program supports skills and understanding that can extend into home, school, work, and community life.

Rising Futures is adaptable to the needs of different populations and settings, including schools, housing communities, and community-based organizations. While the structure and delivery may vary, its foundation remains the same: strengthening families through understanding, practical tools, connection, and resilience.
