Glafira Laub
Executive Director

Home has always been the center of Glafira Laub’s story. As a child refugee, she learned the importance of family, community, and resilience—lessons she carries forward today in her multicultural, multiracial blended family with her husband and five children. Her extensive travels, including studying housing and community in Mexico and engaging in trauma and health equity work in India through a non-Western lens, have shaped her perspective on how resilience and healing are nurtured across cultures.

Glafira has spent years supporting differently abled children and their families, and as a paralegal, she stood with survivors of domestic violence and guided families through immigration, unemployment, and housing struggles. She has also led workshops and trainings on trauma, including the science of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), helping communities, schools, and organizations better understand resilience and the impact of trauma. She earned her undergraduate degree in Public Justice and Human Development at SUNY Oswego, holds a master’s in Interdisciplinary Trauma, and is currently completing dual master’s degrees at Albany Law School in Human Resource Law, Leadership, and Policy, and in Financial Compliance and Risk Management.

Today, as Executive Director of I-Mobile Health Mission, Glafira brings together her lived experience, global perspective, and long history of advocacy. Her vision is clear: to walk alongside individuals, families, and communities as they build resilience, equity, and a more compassionate future together.
